Hello! I’m Erin Manski, proud owner of Moving Mountains Reading & Dyslexia Services LLC. I’m passionate about the Orton Gillingham approach and the Science of Reading, dedicated to helping struggling readers gain essential skills. I believe every child deserves to learn how to read, and I’m honored to offer proven, effective services.
I hold certifications as a Certified Orton Gillingham Practitioner (C/OGA), Structured Dyslexia Specialist (C-SLDS), Academic Language Practitioner (CALP), and Licensed Reading Specialist.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my dogs, Oliver and Avery. Formerly a Park Ranger in Yellowstone, I aim to visit every National Park!

Erica Amachigh
Certified Academic Language Therapist, CALT
As a dedicated educator with a passion for enhancing literacy skills, I have been serving as an educator for Irving Independent School District in Irving, TX since 2013. I took on the District Dyslexia Specialist role in 2018 and have been able to contribute to the continuous improvement of the district's dyslexia program. My responsibilities encompass coaching and mentoring dyslexia interventionists and specialists and supporting the implementation of effective instructional programs.

Laurie Harvick

Hello! My name is Laurie Harvick, and I am so excited to be part of the Moving Mountains Team. I recently retired from public school teaching in Texas after 36 years, where I have taught first
grade, second grade, fourth grade, and served as a reading interventionist at the elementary level. In addition, in 2010 I completed my dyslexia therapy training at Texas Scottish Rite
Hospital’s Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia & Learning Disorders. I am a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist in Texas, a certified member of the Academic Language Therapy Association, and have been trained in both Take Flight and MTA curriculums.

Jennifer Saldivar

My name is Jennifer Saldivar and I have been an elementary educator for 21 years and a CALT for the last 4 years. My teaching experience ranges from kindergarten to 4th grade with kinder being my absolute favorite. I have taught in Garland and Wylie, Texas before teaching virtually. I decided to become a CALT so I could teach students how to read more effectively. I am trained in Take Flight and MTA (multisensory teaching approach). My primary goal when working with a student is to look beyond test numbers and scores, I want my students to discover the love of reading.

My name is Stacie Barkes-Turley, I'm an experienced and passionate educator dedicated to teaching and empowering students with dyslexia and other reading and literacy based difficulties. I love teaching with the Orton-Gillingham approach and in the Science of Reading. With over 8 years of experience, I have a proven track record of helping students reach their fullest potential.

My name is Kim Duren and I am excited to be part of the Moving Mountains team. I am a seasoned educator with 30 years of experience in Reading and Dyslexia. I have had the pleasure of meeting the needs of students with a reading disadvantage and have watched them grow individually to become outstanding graduates and citizens. My experience has allowed me and will continue to allow me to grow professionally in the field of education. I love helping students of all ages succeed and look forward to the opportunity to continue my career reaching more students.

Hello! My name is Shannon Maloney. I am a licensed, American-Speech- Language-Hearing-Association (ASHA) certified speech-language pathologist (SLP). I am passionate about helping individuals of all ages and backgrounds communicate more independently.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology from West Virginia University, with a minor in Special Education, and my Master of Science from William Paterson University.
